The Kitamaru chain of izakayas serves fresh sashimi and seafood platters, sushi and seafood donburi (rice bowls), in a unique, elegant setting; the entire room is shaped like a tunnel, with a domed roof inlaid with hardwood panels and spot lighting that makes for a beautiful, romantic setting.
Each side of the room is lined with black lacquer tables and white chairs, with dark hardwood floors. Although it’s perfect for large groups it’s also good for intimate groups and couples, making it a nice date spot.
This location is at the Paseo dining area at Sapporo Station, making it very convenient for dinner and drinks after a day of sightseeing or shopping at the station.
