Saito Sushi Restaurant opened in 2000 offering the best of fresh sushi, sashimi and authentic Japanese dishes, and is located on the outskirts of Downtown Sapporo.

Saito Sushi’s fabulously fresh ingredients are traded through hardworking fishermen, highly motivated seafood markets and trustworthy seafood retailers. This seafood can only be delivered through reliable and trusted connections within the seafood industry.Vegetables are stocked from the dedicated horticulture industry nationwide thanks to a good transport network. The owner and head chef takes pleasure knowing that Saito Sushi’s valuable customers enjoy their meals.

Sushi set meals are served as well as individual sushi. Omakase Nigiri is a set of 10 pieces of chef’s choice sushi and a bowl of Japanese soup. Another sushi set comes with 10 pieces of sushi, a sashimi plate and a bowl of Japanese soup. A la carte sushi has a wide range of choices from pieces to rolls. Their wasabi is delivered directly from Shizuoka, Central Japan. Sushi rice is cooked with high quality equipment that makes meals even more delicious.

Set menus of grilled seafood and vegetables, sashimi and small Japanese dishes are also available with costs of between 8,400 yen and 15,750 yen. A la carte grilled seafood includes crabs and sashimi plates.

Private functions for groups of up to six people can be held at the Hanare (Remote) table with advanced bookings. In the main restaurant, the counter table can accommodate up to 9 people and two tables are provided with up to four people per table. Saito Sushi Restaurant is a smoke free restaurant.

Saito Sushi Restaurant is located on Ekimae Dori, Sapporo’s Main Steert, between Susukino and Nakajima Park. From JR Sapporo Station, catch a Nanboku (Green) Line subway train to Makomanai departing from Platform 1 and get off at Susukino, two stations ahead. Take the Exit 5 and walk to South (opposite to the close traffic light). After the second traffic light, the restaurant is located in the second building on the right hand side. It takes around 4 minutes walk. Alternatively you can walk for about four minutes from Nakajima Koen (Park) Subway Station on the Nanboku Line.
