Sapporo Factory

Are you looking for a place in the heart of Sapporo with shopping, easy parking, and the option to spend the whole day with your family while enjoying various events? Then look no further. Come to Sapporo Factory! The vast building complex is made up of 160 shops and 7 floors.

1-jo Kan features a wide range of amusement facilities. 2-jo Kan contains outdoor brands that are popular both inside and outside Japan. 3-jo Kan has beauty-related shops such as nail salons and hair salons. Frontier Kan has a collection of restaurants, along with the Atrium which is the main event venue, and a variety of stores that will make your life more convenient including a supermarket and general merchandise shops. Renga Kan is the beautifully renovated former brewery of Sapporo Beer. Nishi Kan has a hotel and fitness club. In addition, they have many shops that are indispensable in daily life, including a bank, post office, travel agency, Docomo shop, SoftBank, and convenience store. Many people will probably be able take care of most of their errands if they come here.

You can enjoy movies at the United Cinemas theater which features 11 screens, including an IMAX screen utilizing cutting-edge technology, so Sapporo Factory is also a good spot for dates. Plus, if you’re there for sightseeing then don’t forget to check out the spectacular Chimney Plaza! They also have the Sapporo Beer museum and souvenir shop, making it a perfect place for taking pictures and creating memories.

If you come on a weekday, you can enjoy their Weekday Eve performances on the Atrium stage while having dinner. During the crowded weekends there are too many entertainment and amusement options to write down here, from family-friendly events, Hawaiian shows, and Gundam exhibitions to bungee trampolines and beer gardens. The most popular events are the beer festivals held several times a year! With refreshingly crisp, cold beer on sale at half the usual price, the place turns so busy that it is hard to get a seat. You’ll enjoy your beer even more when holding delicious snacks made with Hokkaido ingredients in your other hand.

Are you worried about where you will go to buy the next day’s groceries after you have enjoyed your day off and finished dinner? No problem. You can shop at the Toko Store on the first floor of Frontier Kan which operates 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. with the motto “high quality & good service.”
