The interior decor has been designed by a world recognized and awarded architect which attracts customers to the relaxed, warm and luxurious atmosphere while dining. The restaurant is named as Ichiba which means “market” in English yet it’s much different from a trading facility.
This gourmet restaurant provides appetizers with a wide range of plates from cold tofu and pickles to deep fried mashed potato filled with cream sauce and crabs. Main dishes include Sashimi plates such as tuna, channel rockfish and shellfish, and grilled beef, atka mackerel and crab. Other meal options before desserts are stir fried rice, Ochazuke – rice and toppings with green tea flavored soup with delectable tempura or chef’s choice toppings, salmon roe on rice, and five sushi pieces. At the end of your meal, you can choose pudding, ice cream or sorbet.

Hokkaido Ichiba Ichiba is located on the Sixth Floor at Susukino Building where you will see the Nikka Whisky Man. The building adjoins Subway Susukino Station (Exit 3) on Nanboku Line (green line). It takes around 10 minutes walk from Odori Park and 15 to 20 minutes on foot from JR Sapporo Station.
