Hareruya is an izakaya (Japanese pub) that serves thick soba noodles in a rich fish broth that’s quite similar to ramen.
They also have other noodle dishes such as yakisoba stir fried noodles with salad and soup lunch sets. Hareruya is popular with the female demographic and gets quite busy at lunchtime with local office ladies, so it’s a good idea to come early to get a table. In the evenings there is a 350 yen seating charge added to the bill and the focus shifts to light dinner items paired with cocktails, sake and beer.
Hareruya is located on the North side of Block 6 at Odori Park, just a few minute’s walk West of Odori Station.
